Butterfly

Ik hoop dat alles goed gaat met jullie, hier gaat het zo zijn freubel gangetje ;-)

De kaart die ik jullie vandaag wil laten zien is ook voor een challenge.

En wel voor de Crazy for CAS challenge #48 Butterflies.

Er werd in de uitleg nog eens benadrukt om het simpel te houden en ik denk dat ik hier wel in gelukt ben, wat denken jullie daarvan ?

The card I want to show you today is also for a challenge.

I like to enter it at Crazy for CAS challenge #48 Butterflies.

They emphasized to keep it very simple and I think that I succeeded in this,

what do you all think about it ?

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nog even een close up van een vlinder om beter te zien dat ik de vlinders bewerkt heb met  embossing poeder.

            A close up of one of the butterflies to show that I heat embossed them

with white embossing powder.

 

 

Gebruikte materialen

Basis in wit cardstock 14x22 cm dubbelvouwen

2 Strips in zwart cardstock 0,5x14 cm die ik gekleefd heb op de boven

en de onderrand van de kaart.

2 Strips wit cardstock 3x14 cm die je rilt op elke 1/2cm

Stempel 3 vlinders met embossing inkt en bestrooi met wit embossing poeder en

emboss met de heat tool.

Kleur ze daarna in met een waterbrush en Distress ink salty ocean en spun sugar.

Om diepte te creëren heb ik de randjes nog bewerkt met Distress Ink black soot

Een tekst banner en enkele kleefparels en klaar.

 

Used materials

The base is in white cardstock 5 1/2"x 8 1/2" fold in half

2 Strips of black cardstock 1/4"x 5 1/2" and these have to be matted on top and bottom of the card

2 Strips of white cardstock 1 1/4"x 5 1/2" score at every 1/8"

Stamp 3 butterflies with embossing ink and heat emboss them with white embossing powder

Then I coloured them with Distress ink salty ocean and spun sugar with a waterbrush

To give them definition I put some Distress ink black soot on the edges

A text banner and some pearls to finish it up.

 

Ik ben weer heel benieuwd wat jullie van deze kaart vinden, ik denk wel dat ze simpel

genoeg is volgens de opdracht.

White on White

Hoi Hoi allemaal,

Hi there everyone,

 

Mijn kaartje voor vandaag is ook weer eentje voor een challenge en de opdracht is wit op wit.

Nu hoop ik maar dat ik mag meedoen met dit kaartje want ik heb wel mijn tekstje gestempeld in rood en niet in zwart. Maar daar werd niets over gezegd dus op hoop van zegen maar. Ben benieuwd wat jullie ervan vinden. En ik kijk er ook al naar uit om jullie berichtjes weer te lezen waar ik telkens weer van geniet. Dus al op voorhand bedankt om langs te komen en een

berichtje achter te laten.

 

My card for today is again for a challenge and the assignment was white on white.

I do hope I can join in for this challenge with this card since I stamped my text sentiment in red.

But I didn't read anything about that so I think its fine. And the design team's cards aren't all of them completely white aswell, so I think this will be okay too.

Anyway, again I am so curious what you all think about it and I look foreward to

reading your comments which I always love to do, so thanks in advance for stopping by.

 

 

I'd like to enter this into challenge #56 - White on White at Hobby Cutz

 

Materials that I used are:

For the base white cardstock 6"x8 1/2" fold in half

On that I matted a piece of white cardstock 4"x6" which I dry embossed with the Nellie Snellen embossing folder HSF010 Cherry Blossom

The butterflies I made out of white cardstock with a stencil from

Memory Box N°88504 Butterfly Drifting and then I dry embossed them one with

the Sizzix Polka Dot embossing folder and one with the Hobby Idee folder CCC-4064

On top of the white satin ribbon I made a big bow with the

Joy! crafts Die Ribbons & Bows 6002/0183

Further I used white pearls, a flower shaped button, Viva Decor Perlen Pen Magic Transparent Lemon, the text sentiment with Versacolor Cardinal and at the bottom of the card

I made a strip with White Glitter powder.

 

Gebruikte materialen zijn:

Voor de basis wit cardstock 15,5x22 cm dubbelvouwen

Daarop een stuk wit cardstock 10,5x15 en dat heb ik geëmbosst met de Nellie Snellen embossing folder HSF010 Cherry Blosom

De vlinders zijn gemaakt met een stencil van Memory Box

N° 88504 Butterfly Drifting en daarna geëmbosst met de Sizzix Polka Dot embossing folder

en de andere met de Hobby Idee folder CCC-4064

Op het witte satijnen lint heb ik een strik gedaan uit wit cardstock met de Joy! crafts mal

Ribbons & Bows 6002/0183

Verder heb ik nog gebruikt witte kleefparels, een bloem knoop, Viva Decor Perlen Pen

Magic Transparent Lemon, de tekst gestempeld met Versacolor Cardinal en helemaal onderaan

de kaart heb ik een strip gemaakt met Wit glitter poeder.

Eerst en vooral wil ik mijn laatste nieuwe volgers hartelijk welkom heten, dat we elkaar veel mogen inspireren. Ook wil even iedereen hartelijk bedanken voor de lieve en leuke berichtjes die jullie steeds weer achterlaten, dat waardeer ik enorm.

Avond weide/Evening meadow

Hallo blogland, Hi there blogland ;-)

Na een weekendje even afwezig te zijn geweest ben ik hier met een volgende kaart die ik nog wil laten meedoen met een challenge. De opdracht was maak een kaart van 10x20 cm een grote kaart

 dus. Uiteindelijk vond ik het best wel moeilijk want wat zet je allemaal op zo'n lange kaart.

Ze mag niet overdadig zijn maar ook niet veel te leeg.

Je mag kiezen of je'm in de breedte of in de hoogte maakt en dus heb ik voor de breedte

gekozen. Ben benieuwd wat jullie ervan vinden.

 

After being away for the weekend I'm back with a card that I still would like to enter for a challenge. The assingment is make a card of 10x20 cm that is approximately 4"x8" a little bit smaler but not a lot. So that's big huh ? In the end I found it rather difficult because what do you put on such a big card, it may not be overwhelming or too empty. You can choose to make the card in the hight or in the broad way and i chose the latter. I am so curious what you think of it.

 

Materialen die ik gebruikt heb:

Gewoon wit cardstock waarop ik de achtergrond gemaakt heb met Distress Ink: broken china, faded jeans en chipped saphire.
Daarop heb ik gestempeld met Stazon midnight blue met de stempels: Meadow 60-30496 van Inkadinkado, Silhouette Birds 6410/0067 van Joy! crafts, tekst stempel 6410/0005 van Joy! crafts en voor de kleine vlindertjes heb ik een hele oude goedkope stempel van de action verknipt.
Ik heb ook de randen van de kaart nog gedistressed.

The materials that I used are:

White cardstock on which I made the background with Distress Ink: broken china, faded jeans and chipped saphire.
Then I stamped the images Meadow 60-30496 from Inkadinkado, Silhouette Birds 6410/0067 from Joy! crafts a text sentiment from Joy! crafts anf for the little butterflies I've cut up and old, cheap stamp I once bought.
I stamped all the images with Stazon midnight blue and I distressed the edges of the card.

Deze kaart wil dus laten meedoen bij cards and scrap

Challenge vlinder

Hallo allemaal, Hi everyone,

Vandaag post ik mijn inzending voor challenge 70. De opdracht is maak een kaart volgens bingo en toen ik dat zag dacht ik hey, zo heb ik toevallig nog maar net een kaart gemaakt. Maar er ontbrak nog iets aan voor deze challenge namelijk swirls. Ja want ik heb gekozen voor de onderste rij op de bingo kaart namelijk stempels-wit-swirls en als extra is het thema gebruik hoofdkleur zwart.
Dus ben ik aan de slag gegaan en heb een nieuwe versie gemaakt van de kaart die ik al eerder maakte.
Ben benieuwd of jullie deze versie ook mooi vinden.

Today I'm going to post my card for challenge 70. You have to make a card according to a bingo card and when I saw this I thought, hey I already made this card a couple of days ago. But unfortunatly there was something missing on that card namely swirls. Yes I choose the bottom row on the bingo card and that means I have to use stamps-white-swirls and as extra theme we have to use the main color black. So I started crafting yesterday evening to make a new version of an old card. I am curious if you like this one also.

 

Dit is'm dan. Ik heb de swirls in wit gestempeld en daarna in zwart laten doorlopen op het witte gedeelte. Hiervoor heb ik gebruikt: zwart linnen cardstock, wit cardstock,clear stamp vlinder-swirl en tekst, Memento inkt Tuxedo Black, Versacolor white en Distress iced spruce, zwart embossing poeder van Papermania en nog enkele kleefparels in wit.

 

 

Deze wil ik dus laten meedoen bij NKU voor challenge 70

So this is my card. I've stamped the swirls in white ink and then let them continue in black on the white part. Further I used black linnen cardstock, white cardstock, clear stamp butterfly-swirl and sentiment, Memento ink Tuxedo Black, Versacolor white and Distress Ink iced spruce, black embossing powder Papermania en some white pearls.

Je mooiste kaart ooit kiezen vond ik wel een schier onmogelijke opdracht omdat deze is de mooiste stempel kaart, die is de mooiste vintage kaart en zo verder en zo verder.

To choose your most beautiful card ever is almost impossible I think because this one is the best stamp card, that one is the best vintage card etc etc

 

Zo dus dan toch voor een vintage kaartje gegaan.

Deze stuur ik dus in bij de Nederlandse kaartenuitdagingen-vrijkaartjes

So I ended up choosing one of my vintage cards.

Sunflower

Goedemorgen bloggers, good morning bloggers,

 

Vandaag wil ik jullie een kaartje tonen dat ik heb ingezonden voor een challenge op facebook.

Het thema is zomer en omdat de meerderheid dan denkt aan zee en strand dacht ik ik ga een hele andere kant uit. Bij zomer moest ik ook spontaan denken aan de velden en velden vol met prachtige zonnebloemen in het zuiden van frankrijk in juli. Die gedachte heb ik trachten weer te geven in een eenvoudige kaart. Ik ben benieuwd naar jullie gedacht.

 

Today I want to show you a card that I've made for a challenge on face book.

The theme is 'Summer' and since most of the others grap to sea and beach I wanted to think outside the box. So I had to think immediatly on the fields and fields full of beautiful

sunflowers in the south of france in july. I've tried to catch that thought into a simple card.

I am very curious what you think of it.

 

 

 

 

 

De bloem heb ik ingekleurd met Faber Castell Polychromos potloden.

I coloured the flower with the Faber Castell Polychromos pencils.
