Twin Bookcard

Hallootjes iedereen,
Hi everyone,

Mijn post voor vandaag was aanvankelijk niet de bedoeling. Een dame vroeg of ik voor haar
twee kleindochters identieke boekkaarten kon maken. Jeetje dat vind ik nu echt het moeilijkste dat er is. Je zou zeggen stans alles gewoon tweemaal maak geen 4 maar 8 bloemetjes etc etc. Maar mijn verstand wilde bij het tweede exemplaar constant bokkesprongen maken in de andere richting. Zo grappig. Maar het is me gelukt. Ik was niet va,n plan om ze te tonen maar toen zag ik de challenge bij Fussy and Fancy en daar vragen ze 'Pairs or Two of a kind' en ja toen dacht ik, ik ga gelijk maar meedoen.

My post for today was not planned at first. Because, a lady asked me to make her two identical book cards for her two granddaughters. OMGosh that is the hardest thing to do for me. You could say it's just a matter of cutting all the DP twice, running the die cuts twice through your big shot, making 8 flowers instead of 4 etc etc. But ... with the second one my mind wanted to goof off al the time and make some changes in the design or add things etc. But yeah I did it. I also wasn't planning to show them but then I saw this challenge over at Frilly and funcky and they ask 'Pairs or Two of a kind' yes then I just had to join in ofcours. So without further ado here is my creation.

Felt Owl

Hoi, hoi allemaal,
HI there everyone,

Een snelle post vandaag vanwege teveel te doen en dus geen internet tijd. Bij The Paper
Shelter vragen ze een kinderkaart en ik had deze al gemaakt maar nog niet gepost.

A quick post today since I have too many things on my to do list and that means no
internet time until this evening.
Over at the Paper Shelter they want a card for a child I've made this
one a while ago but never posted it.

Het is een grote zwevende uil in vilt gemaakt.
It's a big floating owl made in felt.

 

Ik hoop dat je goed kunt zien hoe die rond draait en dus zweeft.

I hope it shows okay how it floats round and round.

 

Ik vind die grote wiebelogen gewoon te gek.

I just love those big wobbly eyes.

Owl - Uil

Goedemorgen bloggertjes,

Voor ik zo dadelijk vertrek effe gauw een kaart posten. Al heel lang zou ik heel graag een
mooie stempel van een uil hebben. Maar geen tekeningetjes uil een waarheidsgetrouwe
weergave, snap je ? Toen Het Hobbypaviljoentje stempels in het assortiment nam van
IndigoBlu was ik door het dolle heen want zij hebben een mooie uilen stempel. Maar,
wat een koude douche toen ik de stempel eindelijk in mijn handen had. Die is op A6
formaat, dat is zoooooooooooooooo groot om op een gewone kaart te verwerken. Wat nu
gedaan ? Hier kon ik echt geen weg mee. Maar ja, toch maar aan de slag gegaan ermee en
het resultaat ervan zie je hieronder.

Before I leave home in a minute here's a quick post. For a long time I wanted to have an
owl stamp. But not a drawing like owl, a real life owl, if you understand what I mean ?
So when Het Hobbypaviljoentje took some IndigoBlu stamps in theire assortment I was
really happy because they have a very beautiful Owl stamp. BUT, when I finally had my
stamp in my hands it was a cold shower. It's A6 size and that's soooooooooo big to put on
a regular square card. What to do ? I couldn't think of anything to do with this stamp ;-(
But I had to make something .... the result you see here below.

 

Zo heb ik deze kaart gemaakt/This is how I made it:

 

Basis donker bruin linnen karton 14,5x29 vouw tot 14,5x14,5

Base dark brown linnen cardstock 14,5x29 fold to 14,5x14,5

Daarop wit cardstock van 14x14

On top of that white cardstock of 14x14

Kleur het stuk wit cardstock met Distress Ink dried marigold + tea dye +

vintage photo

Put some colour on the white cardstock with Distress Inks dried marigold +

tea dye + vintage photo

Stempel de afbeelding IndigoBlu T'wit T'woo met Stazon Timber Brown

op een restje wit cardstock

Stamp the image IndigoBlu T'wit T'woo with Stazon Timber Brown

onto a snippet of white cardstock

Kleur de uil in met DI victorian velvet + tea dye + dried marigold +

vintage photo + tumbled glass + pumice stone

Colour the owl with DI victorian velvet + tea dye + dried marigold +

vintage photo + tumbled glass + pumice stone

Stempel de takken IndigoBlu 'Nature 1' met Timber Brown

Stamp the branches IndigoBlu 'Nature 1' with Timber Brown Stazon

Knip de uil uit en kleef op de takken met foam tape van 0.5mm

Cut out the owl and stick onto the card with foam tape 0.5mm

Stempel de tekst is ook van 'Nature 1' met Stazon Timber Brown

Stamp the sentiment also from 'Nature 1' with Stazon Timber Brown.

Think Blue

Goedemorgen iedereen,
Goodmorning everyone,

Met ingang van vandaag zal ik een teamlid vervangen bij Creative Corner Challenges
De challenge die vandaag begint heeft als thema maak je favorite layout.
Mijn absolute favoriet is deze die ik hier toon. Er is heel erg veel werk aan maar ik vind
deze zo leuk om te maken. Ik heb de kaart al in het roze gemaakt een gelijkaardige in het
vurige rood voor de bonfire challenge en nu dus eens eentje in het blauw.

Starting today I will replace a DT member over at Creative Corner Challenges the challenge
that starts today has for theme 'Make your favorite layout'.
My absolute favorite is the one I show you here today. It's a lot of work but I so love making
this one. I've already made it in pink in red for the bonfire challenge and this time it's a
blue version.

First things first, I want to introduce to you my latest follower and that is Miranda of

Mijn kaartje van vandaag heb ik gemaakt voor een koppel hun huwelijksverjaardag.
Zelf vind ik de afbeelding wel heel schattig met die twee katjes. En te gebruiken voor
een huwelijk een verloving of zoals in dit geval een jubileum. Ze zijn helemaal
verslingerd aan elkaar LOL.

My card for today I 've made for a couple their wedding anniversary. I find this image
so cute with those two cats. And useable for aswell weddings, wedding anniversaries
as engagements. They are totally hooked on each other LOL.

een witte molotow marker de stippellijnen.

Snowman

Goedemorgen allemaal !!
Goodmorning everyone !!

Een nieuwe week alweer die weer mooi gevuld is moet ik zeggen. En hoe voller je agenda
hoe sneller de tijd voorbij raast. Tijd voor mijn nieuwe kaart dus. Ik heb eindelijk de kans
gehad om mijn eerste sneeuwmannen kaart OOIT te maken. Ik ben gek op sneeuwmannetjes.
En het is meteen een kaart geworden met veel sneeuw, heel veel sneeuw. LOL

A new week and again one that is filled to the top I have to say. And the more full your
week planner is the faster time flies by isn't it ? So, time for my new card then. Finally I
found the time to make a snowman card, my first snowman EVER. I just love snowmen.
It's become a card with a lot of snow, LOTS of snow LOL.

Ik heb er een schud kaart van gemaakt zodat er lekker veel sneeuw te zien valt.

I have made it a shaker box card, so that I had room for lots of snow.

 

En hier nog een close up. And here's a close up.

 

Zo heb ik deze kaart gemaakt/This is how I made this card

 

 

Basis midden groen linnen karton van 15x30 en vouw naar 15x15

Daarop zwart linnen karton van 14x14

Uit een stuk wit karton van 13,5x13,5 stans je de vorm uit met een Marianne
Design mal ik heb gebruikt LR0279 Petra's ornaments
Op een stuk wit karton van 11x13 komt de scene. Eerst heb ik de sneeuwman
gestempeld en ingekleurd met Faber Castell potloden 115 dark cadmium orange
266 permanent green 179 Bistre en 1 Derwent c670 dove grey
De sneeuwman is een stempel van Leane Creatief.
Dan heb ik de achtergrond gekleurd met Distress Inkt mustard seed, bundled
sage en tumbled glass en als laatste de dennenbomen gestempeld en die zijn
van Inkylicious. Alles gestempeld met zwarte Stazon inkt.
Op het karton met de uitsnede heb ik met een Viva Decor stencil en DI
tumbled glass de sneeuwsterren aangebracht aan de achterzijde een stuk Mica gekleefd
de sneeuw achter de mica zijn ijskristallen van Viva.
Met een molotow marker nog wat sneeuwvlokjes getekend op de voorzijde van
het mica venstertje. Het woord winter uit wit glitter papier met een joy! mal.
En de prachtige sneeuwvlok op de voorzijde die heb ik gekregen van mijn lieve
blog maatje Chrissy . Omdat ik geen sneeuwster mallen heb heeft zij een hele vracht
voor mij opgestuurd. Als je de link die ik bij Chrissy's naam heb gezet gebruikt kun je haar
prachtige kaarten gaan bewonderen.

Base is middle green linnen cardstock 15x30 fold to 15x15
On top of that black linnen cardstock of 14x14
Out of a piece white cardstock 13,5x13,5 I made a die cut for this I used a
Marianne Design die LR0279 Petra's Ornaments.
On a piece of white cardstock 11x13 I made the little scenery. First I
stamped the snowman which is a stamp from Leane Creatief with black
Stazon, I coloured him with Faber Castell pencils 115 dark cadmium orange
266 permanent green 179 Bistre and derwent c670 dove grey
Then I made the background with Distress Inks mustard seed, bundled
sage and tumbled glass. Last but not least I stamped the trees which are
from Inkylicious. On the cardstock with the die cut I made with DI tumbled
glass and a Viva Decor stencil the snowflakes. At the back I adhered a piece of
Mica to make the window, the snow behind the window is Ice Cristalls
from Viva. With a molotow marker I drew some snow flakes on the outside of
my window. The word winter is a joy! crafts die and some white glitter
paper. And the huge beautiful snowflake on the front I got from my dear blog
friend Chrissy from New Zealand. Because I didn't have snowflake dies
she send me a whole lot . Thank you Chrissy (kiss-kiss) If you use the link I added
