now it hasn't appeared in my reading list is anyone of you

A Bit More Time To Craft Challenge 6

Hello bloggers,

 

 

It is november 15th (already ?) and that means it is time for

team B to present their card for our new challenge.

A Bit More Time To Craft starts challenge 6 and as always

it's an "Anything Goes" challenge.

 

 

Hallo bloggers,

 

Het is 15 november (nu al ?) en dat wil zeggen dat het tijd is voor team B

om hun kaart voor te stellen voor onze nieuwe challenge.

A Bit More Time To Craft start challenge 6 en zoals altijd is het

een "Anything Goes" of "Alles Mag" challenge.

As I promised before I would show you another technique every month.

(As long as I can and as long as there is inspiration)

So this month I would like to show you the

"Spotlight Technique"

Hope you like it, enjoy.

 

 

Zoals ik op ons challenge blog beloofd had toon ik daar elke maand

een andere techniek. (Zo lang als ik kan en zo lang als ik

inspiratie heb) Dus deze maand wil ik jullie graag tonen de,

"Spotlight Techniek"

Ik hoop dat jullie deze ook leuk vinden, geniet ervan.

 



 

With this first example I matted the piece that I wanted to highlight or put

in the spotlight on the same cardstock as my card base. Below here

a close up of the spotlight piece.

Bij dit eerste voorbeeldje heb ik het stuk dat ik in de aandacht wilde zetten of

in de spotlights zeg maar, gemat op een stuk kaartkarton dat hetzelfde is

als mijn basis kaart. Hieronder een close up.

 

 Example 2  Voorbeeld 2

 

In this example I didn't put my spotlight on one big central panel .

This time I punched all different sizes of circles that I

coloured in and glued them to my base. BTW the sentiment says

"Sweet Greetings"

Bij dit voorbeeld heb ik de spotlight niet op 1 enkel centraal paneel gezet.

Ik heb cirkels uitgestanst in verschillende formaten die

ingekleurd zijn en deze op de basis gekleefd.

Example 3  Voorbeeld 3

 

 

And with this card I used white embossing powder, heat set it and coloured

with Distress Ink. I then made 4 die cuts out of this coloured panel with a

jigsaw die and glued them to my stamped image.

To finish off I glued some white glitter beneath the trees.

Bij deze kaart heb ik wit embossing poeder gebruikt, en na de embossing

met Distress Inkt gekleurd. Dan met een puzzel malletje van CreaLies

4 stukjes uitgestanst en opgekleefd op mijn gestempelde afbeelding.

Als afwerking heb ik onder de bomen nog wat witte glitter gedaan.

 

Below here a close up. Hieronder nog een close up.

 

 So basiccally, you just stamp your image twice, one time on your

main card and one time on a piece of scrap.

The image on the piece of scrap you colour in and then you punch out

or die cut some forms, cirkles, jigsaw pieces or whatever.

You line these up on your image on your main card and glue them down.

Or if you work with just one panel or cirkel you can mat this on

cardstock first, then line it up with your main image and glue it down.

That's all there is to it. I hope you enjoyed this, thanks for watching.

Het komt er dus op neer dat je je afbeelding tweemaal stempeld.

Eénmaal op je eingenlijke kaart en éénmaal op een stuk rest karton.

De afbeelding op het restkarton kleur je in en dan pons je deeltjes uit.

Of je gebruikt een malletje. Die vormen kunnen cirkels, puzzelstukjes of

gelijk wat zijn. Je zorgt dat ze overeen komen met de tekening op je

kaart en kleeft ze vast. Of je werkt zoals in mijn eerste voorbeeld met 1

paneel of 1 grote cirkel of vierkant. Je mat dit eerst op kaartkarton en dan

kleef je het op je basis.Meer is het niet. Ik hoop dat je dit leuk vond, bedankt

Slider and Shaker Card

Good morning lovelies,

 

Today again 2 cards that I'd like to show you and which

I'd like to enter into some challenges.

 

 

Goedemorgen lieve bloggertjes,

 

Vandaag weer 2 kaartjes die ik jullie wil tonen en die ik wil

laten meedoen aan enkele challenges.

 

 

Here's the first one. Hier is de eerste.

I have a double set of pictures here first on a black background

because I found that the colours were better but since my card base

is also black I took the pictures again on a white background so you

can see the shape of the card better.

 

Twee setjes foto's vandaag, op een zwarte achtergrond omdat

de kleuren dan mooier zijn maar ook op een witte achtergrond

omdat je de vorm van de kaart dan beter ziet omdat mijn

basis kaart al zwart is.

 

So this is my slider card. If you see the little notch at the top

of the card (you see this better on the white background) there

you have to pull and then the 2 hidden parts slide out.

The sentiment on the front of the base says:

"Just a card because.... "

 

Dit is mijn slider kaart. Bovenaan de basis kaart zit een half rondje,

dat er een beetje uit steekt (je ziet het beter met de witte achtergrond)

als je daar aan trekt glijden er twee verborgen paneeltjes uit.

 

 

 

The sentiment on the second panel says

" For You from Me "

 

And then on the third panel the sentiment says

" Today is Your Day "

 

 

This is so much fun to make.

Onto my second card/En dan mijn tweede kaart.

I again made a shaker card but this time not with snow

behind the window but sequins.

Ik heb nog eens een schudkaart gemaakt maar ditmaal niet met

sneeuw achter het venster maar pailletten.

Howdy Friends/Pink Snowman

Morning,

 

Today I have 2 cards to show you which ly miles apart from

each other but I enjoyed making both of them.

So let's start, here they are.

 

Goedemorgen,

Vandaag heb ik 2 kaarten om te tonen, die mijlen ver uit elkaar

liggen maar ik heb van beide genoten om ze te maken.

Laten we dus maar van start gaan, hier zijn ze.

Embossing folder Leane Creatief for my embossed background

SNS Semi-Transparant glitter white embossing powder

(I covered the snowman panel with this embossing powder to give

it a beautiful shine. Unfortunatly it doesn't show on the pic)

Maybe if the weathers get's a bit brighter today I can take a close-up

and add this pic here.

Grateful for the autum leaves

Hello there everyone,

 

Today here in Belgium it's a holliday, the celebration of armistice or

ceasefire day. I'm here with a cas card for a few challenges.

 

Hallo daar allemaal,

 

Vandaag is het hier in België een feestdag, de viering van wapenstilstand.

En ik kom even bij jullie langs met een cas kaartje.

 

 

 

The sentiment inside my card says: "Thank you for

your friendship"

I also decorated the envelope.

Ik heb ook de omslag bestempeld.

For the base white linnen cardstock

For the layer plain white cardstock

Marianne Design die LR0255 Maple Leaves to cut out my

front panel.

Stamps: SU 'Truly Grateful' and Clarity Leaf set

Inks: Versafine Satin Red

Distress spiced marmelade, ripe persimmon, barn door

 

Gebruikte Materialen:

Als basis wit linnen kaartkarton

Voor de opleg kaart gewoon wit kaartkarton

MD LR0255 Maple Leaves mal om de bladeren uit te

stanzen uit mijn voor paneel.

Stempels: SU 'Truly Grateful' en Clarity Bladeren set

Inkt: Versafine Satin Red en  Distress spiced marmelade,

Hertjes in het Rood/Deer in Red

Hoi allemaal,

 

Effe een quickie vandaag.

 

Hi everyone, just a very quick one today.

 

 

 

Basis rood kaartkarton daarop een wit paneel.

Op het wit paneel heb ik 3 verschillende tinten rood aangebracht.

Dan het hele paneel bedekt met Versamark inkt en

dan bestrooid met Semi-Transparant glitter embossing poeder

en verhit. De bomen en hertjes uitgestanst en met dunne

foam tape opgekleefd. De randjes van bomen en hertjes licht aangezet

met rode distress inkt.

 

My base card is red cardstock then a white panel on top of it.

The white panel I covered with 3 different tones of red then I covered

it with Versamark ink and Semi-Transparant glitter embossing

powder and heat set. The trees and deers are die cuts which I slightly

coloured around the edges. Adhered to my card with very thin foam.

As You Like It  #  Favourite Hobby and Why

(My favourite hobby is by far card making, because it brings

me peace and rest. When I am totally tressed and I enter my petite

studio and start making a card. I come to ease again. I find my zen

back so to speack  lol )

Hello crafty friends,

 

Sunny sunday overhere which is odd for this time of year.

Zonnige zondag hier vandaag met wel 20 graden. Heel vreemd voor

deze tijd van het jaar maar, mij hoor je niet klagen.
