Condoleance

Goedemorgen allemaal,

Vandaag een condoleance kaartje en dat is echt niet omdat ik me nog steeds vreselijk voel. Veel pijn en nog steeds heel erg opgezwollen. Ik heb het al een hele tijd geleden gemaakt en had het nog niet gepost vandaar.

Good morning all,

Today I have a sympathy card for you and that is not because I still feel terrible with a lot of pain and swollenness. I had made this card a few months and hadn't posted it yet, that's why.

De basis is een witte kaart met daarop een zwart paneel. De tekst is erop gezet met wit embossing poeder. De bloem is een stand die gekleurd is met grijze inkt.

The base is a white card on top of that a black panel. The sympathy text is with white embossing powder. The flower is a die cut coloured with grey ink.

Onderaan nog de gebruikte materialen.

Ook vandaag meer keuzes met 1 product. En wel met onderstaande stempel van Nellie's Choice. (klik op de foto)

Also today more choices with one and the same product. With the stamp below from Nellie's Choice. (click on the pic)

Met Memento Tangelo en Desert Sand heb ik het ovaal gesponst. Daarna de condoleance bloemen stempel erin gestempeld met Versafine Pinecone dan de vogeltjes en dan de twee tekst stempels. Dit op een laag gekleefd van mokka linnen cardstock en daarna op een zwarte linnen basis kaart.

 With Memento Tangelo and Desert Sand I sponged the oval. Then I stamped the condolance flowers in it with Versafine Pine Cone then the birds and then the two sentiments. Layered this onto Mocha linen cardstock and then on a black linen base card.

De tweede kaart is niet echt een condoleance kaart maar een herdenkingskaart. Op 11 oktober was een oom van mij 1 jaar overleden. Hij was mij heel erg dierbaar en ik heb deze herdenkingskaart voor mijn tante gemaakt. Binnenin heb ik de tekst gestempeld "Niets verdwijnt voorgoed als de herinnering blijft". Dat heb ik bovenaan gestempeld en dan had ik nog voldoende plaats om een bemoedigend woordje te schrijven.

The second card is not a sympathy card but a remembrance card. On october 11 my uncle was 1 year deseased. He was very dear to me so I made this remembrance card for my aunt. Inside I stamped on top the sentiment "Nothing is gone for ever when the remembrance stays" I stamped it on top so I had enough room to write an ecouraging word.

De opbouw van deze kaart: het zwarte schildje uitgesneden met een CreaLies mal uit zwart karton, daarop de condoleance bloem gestempeld met embossing inkt en verhit met wit embossing poeder. Op wit karton de regendruppels gestempeld met Versafine Morning Mist dan het zwarte schildje daarop gekleefd. Dan dit geheel gekleefd op een Titanium kleurige basis kaart.

How this card came about: the black shield is done with a CreaLies nesting die, on that I stamped the sympathy flower with Versamark and heat set with white embossing powder. On white I stamped the rain drops with Versafine Morning Mist then I adhered the black shield on this panel. Then adhered this onto a Titanium base card.

CreaLies ontmoet/Meets Lavinia deel 2-Part 2

Goedemorgen blog vrienden, volgers & bezoekers,

Vandaag heb ik nog een vervolg op de kaartjes van gisteren. Voor dit condoleance kaartje had ik voor het ziekenhuis geen tijd meer maar het was in mijn gedachten blijven steken en moest er absoluut uit. Gisteren lag ik te denken als ik nu eens twee versies maak een condoleance en een vrolijke versie. Heb ik dus al rechtstaande twee kaartjes gemaakt gisteren avond. Hieronder het resultaat.

Today I have a sequel on the sympathy cards from yesterday. For this one I didn't have the time anymore to make it before going into hospital. But is was stuck in my mind and it had to come out. Yesterday while resting I was thinking about making two versions of this card, one sympathy version and one happy version. So standing up as sitting down still doesn't work I made these two versions yesterday evening. The result below.

Voor het condoleance kaartje heb ik de C reaLies mini mask Rose gebruikt en daar met een stencil brush Memento zwarte inkt over geborsteld. Heel zachtjes. Daarna met Versafine zwart De Lavinia Zen Rose erop gestempeld en het tekstje. Gemat op een zwarte basis kaart en klaar.

For the sympathy card I used the CreaLies mini mask Rose and with a stencil brush I applied Memento black ink. Carefully so that it would not be too dark as a rose is a delicate flower. Then I stamped the Lavinia Zen Rose on it with Versafine black and also the sympathy sentiment. Adhered to a black base card and ready.

Voor het tweede kaartje heb ik hetzelfde stencil mask gebruikt maar ditmaal Memento Rose Bud eroverheen geborsteld. Links onder heb ik de roos iets lichter geborsteld en rechts boven heb ik ze ietsje donkerder gemaakt. Vervolgens heb ik de nieuwe Lavinia stempel Fairy Buds erop gezet met de nieuwe Versafine kleur Glamorous. Met dezelfde inkt kleur ook nog de CreaLies roosjes gestempeld in de linker boven hoek alsook het tekstje. Tot slot enkele druppels Nuvo Jewel Drops Rose Water. Die heb ik ook hier en daar op de Fairy Buds gezet. Het leuke is dat deze transparant opdrogen. De kaart gemat op een Koraal Magenta basis kaart en klaar.

For the second card I used the same Rose mask but this time with Memento Rose Bud. Below left I brushed the ink lighter over the mask and on the one top right I gave it a tad bit more colour. Next I stamped the new Lavinia Fairy Buds with one of the new Versafine colours Glamorous. With this same colour I stamped the CreaLies roses in the top left corner and also the sentiment which says "Get well soon" (how appropriate huh ?) To finish up I added some drops Nuvo Jewel Drops Rose Water and I also added some drops on the Fairy Buds aswell. The fun thing is that these jewel drops dry clear/transparant. I adhered my card to a Coral Magenta base card and ready.

CreaLies ontmoet/Meets Lavinia

Goede morgen lieve allemaal,

Ik voel me al een stuk beter en probeer de pijn medicatie al af te bouwen. Zitten gaat helaas nog steeds niet dus ik blijf beperkt in wat ik kan doen. En staan/lopen mag niet meer dan een half uur. Maar het gaat dus de goede kant op. De kaartjes van vandaag heb ik ook VOOR mijn ziekenhuis opname al gemaakt ik ben dus nog niet terug aan het knutselen. :-(

I'm feeling better already and I am already trying to reduce the painkillers. Sitting still doesn't work, too much pain so I am still limited in what I can do. And standing up/walking is only aloud for 30min. But I am getting there. The cards I want to show you today are made BEFORE I went to the hospital. I am not yet crafting again. :-(

Het zijn 3 condoleance kaartjes die we helaas van tijd tot tijd nodig hebben. Zoals ik in de titel reeds zei is het een ontmoeting tussen CreaLies en Lavinia. Meer uitleg onder elke kaartje. These are 3 sympathy cards, unfortunately we do need them from time to time. As I mentioned in the titel of this post it is a meeting between CreaLies and Lavinia. More explanation under each card. At the end of this post you'll find a full supply list and when you click on a photo you are directed to the webshop.

Op wit smooth karton heb ik één van de laatste nieuwe kleine stencil masks gelegd van CreaLies en dan met een spons-eitje (zie beneden in de lijst) zachtjes eroverheen gegaan met Memento grijze inkt. Daarna de Lavinia Zen Single Grass stempel erop gezet met Versafine zwart en het tekstje ook. De randen met het eitje zonder terug te beïnkten ook aangezet en dan gemat op een zwarte basis kaart.

On white smooth cardstock I layed one of the newest CreaLies small masks and went over it softly and gently with an egg-sponge (see in the list below) and Memento grey ink. Then I stamped the Lavinia Zen Single Grass stamp with Versafine black as the sentiment which says "courage" or litteraly strength. Without re-inking the egg I also sponged the edge around and then matted it onto a black base card.

Hier dezelfde werkwijze maar ditmaal heb ik de inkt aangebracht met een inkt borstel en weer één van de nieuwste CreaLies mask stencils en ik heb hele donkere groene Memento gebruikt. Dan met Versafine zwart de Lavinia Silhouette Thistle erop gestempeld. De tekst is gestempeld met donker groene Versafine. Ook nu de rand een beetje aangezet met een spons-eitje en dezelfde groene memento inkt. Gemat op een donker groene basis kaart.

Almost the same working method here, another one of the newest CreaLies masks together with a dark green memento but this time I applied it with an ink brush. With Versafine black I stamped the Lavinia silhouette Thistles and the sentiment which says "You are in my thoughts". The sentiment is stamped with versafine dark green to match the memento. Again with an egg-sponge and the green memento I inked the edges and the matted it onto a dark green base card.

Nummer 3 opnieuw één van de laatste nieuwe CreaLies stencils en ditmaal donker bruine memento aangbracht ook op de randen rondom. Dan met Versafine bruin het Lavinia Large Path gestempeld en met dezelfde inkt de tekst. Gemat op een donker bruine basis kaart. 

Number 3 again one of the latest CreaLies masks and this time I used a dark brown memento ink also for the edges. With Versafine brown ink I stamped the Lavinia Large Path and with the same inkt the sentiment which says "There is nothing that dissapears for ever if the memory remains. Take courage". Then I layered this on a dark brown base card.
