Hallo allemaal,

Vandaag een kaartje met flower foam op een geheel andere manier gebruikt. Nee je hoeft niet altijd bloemen te maken van flower foam. Hier is een mannenkaart met de foam.

Hi everyone,

Today I have for you a card with flower foam used in a totally different way. No you don't always have to use flower foam to make flowers. Here's a male card with the foam.

Hier is de hoe-doe-je-dat:

Here's the how-to:

Je begint met je basis kaart te snijden en dubbel te vouwen 14.5x29cm gevouwen heb je dan 14,5x14,5

You start with cutting your base card 14,5x29cm folded in half you have a card that meassures 14,5x14,5cm

Dan snij je een stuk wit cardstock van 14x14cm en dat steek je tussen onderstaande embossing folder en emboss.

Then you cut a piece of white cardstock to 14x14cm. Place it between the embossing folder shown below and run through your die cutting machine.

Nu ga je dit paneel bewerken om het een roest uitstraling te geven. Je neemt Viva Paper Rust en je schept er een beetje uit meng met een beetje water en breng aan op je kaart langs de randen. Breed genoeg maar niet het hele paneel moet bedekt worden omdat er in het midden nog een paneel op komt. Droog met de heat tool.

Now you are going to manipulate this panel to give it a rusty look. Take some Viva Rusty paper on your craft mat and mix it with a little water. Apply with a big brush onto your card along the edges. Wide enough but do not cover the entire panel since there is still a panel comming in the middle. Dry with a heat tool.

Breng vervolgens met je vinger hier en daar wat Viva 3D stempelverf aan voor het oxidatie effect.

Then apply with your finger here and there some Viva 3D paint for the oxidation effect.

Snij een wit stuk karton eventueel linnen karton van 12,5x12,5cm en snijd een stuk beige flower foam van 12x12.5cm Scheur van de langste kant met de hand ongeveer 0.5cm af zodat je lapje 12x12cm is en bovenaan een gescheurd randje heeft.

Cut a piece of white card you can take linen cardstock of 12,5x12,5cm. Cut a piece of beige flower foam 12x12.5cm. Tear the 12.5cm side by hand the tear needs to be +-0.5 cm so you will be left with a piece of foam that's 12x12cm and has a torn edge at the top.

Stempel de kever en de vogels met VersaMagic Jumbo Java. 

Stamp the beetle and the birds with VersaMagic Jumbo Java.

   

Stempel de lijnen onder de auto ook met Jumbo Java. Kleur dan de auto met Jumbo Java in en breng wat blauw aan in de lucht.

Stamp de lines under the car with Jumbo Java. Colour the car with the same ink and use some blue to colour some sky.

  

Maak de plooi in je flower foam. Breng aan de achterzijde dubbelzijdige tape aan. Prik een gaatje door de foam en het witte paneel voor de splitpen. Maak je tape aan de achterzijde een stukje los steek dan de splitpen door de foam en witte paneel. Druk alles aan en verwijder de rest van de beschermlaag van de tape en druk aan. kleef dan dit geheel op je kaart, tekst toevoegen naar eigen nood en smaak.

Make the pleat in the foam. Put doublesided tape at the back. Make a small whole through the foam and the white panel at the same time this is for the brad. Take some of the backing of your tape away then put the brad through the foam and white panel and fasten. Remove the rest of the tape backing and glue everything down. Add a sentiment according to your need ans taste.

Flower Foam Creatie

Hier is nog een leuke mini tutorial voor een leuke flower foam creatie.

Goodmorning all,

Here's a fun mini tutorial for a beautiful flower foam creation.

    

1° Leg een stuk wit kaartkarton in je stempelhulp.

     Put a piece of white cardstock in a stamp positioner.

2° Positioneer je stempel en beïnkt hem met Versafine Clair            Monarch.

     Position your stamp and ink up with Versafine Clair Monarch.

3° Druk af op je kaart in tweede generatie.

     Pul a second generation print of your stamp.

4° Neem je kaart uit de stempelhulp en beïnkt de randen met Memento New Sprout.

     Remove your card from the stamp positioner and ink up the edges with Memento New Sprout.

    5° Stans alle bloemen, blaadjes en takken uit de flower foam.

Die cut all the flowers, leaves and branches out of the flower foam.

     6° Geef bloemen en blaadjes wat extra kleur met bovenstaande inkt.

Give the flowers and leaves extra colour with the above inks.

  7° Kleur de bolletjes van de tak rood en geef de blaadjes van de tak wat groene kleur beide met een alcohol marker.

Colour the berries of the long branch red and the leaves a touch of green with an alcohol marker. 

  8° Breng met het penseeltje wat lijm aan (klein beetje maar) in de kleine roze bloemetjes en op de kleine gele bloemetjes. Strooi er wit glitter poeder op. Add a little bit of glue with the glue bruch (creative expressions) to the small pink and yellow flowers then sprinkle on some white glitter powder.

 9° Leg alle bloemetjes en blaadjes en tak op mica vellen. Je kan hier verpakking voor gebruiken van embossing folders en zo. Geef nu alles een dun laagje Nuvo Crystal Glaze (de glaze werkt op de foam beter dan de glossy acents van Ranger) laat alles een nachtje drogen. Kleef de bloemen op elkaar en kleef je bloemen, blaadjes en tak op je kaart. Veel succes en plezier.

Put all the flowers, leaves and branch onto mica sheets. You use packaging from embossing folders for this. Give everything a thin layer of Nuvo Crystal Glaze (the nuvo glaze works a lot better on foam than the Ranger glossy accents) let it dry overnight. Glue your flowers together and glue your flower arrangement onto your card. Succes and have fun.

Mixed Media kaart

Gisteren heb ik,gezegd dat ik vandaag iets totaal anders ging tonen. Het is een mixed media kaartje geworden, er zijn veel verschillende technieken op gebruikt.

Yesterday I told you I would show you something totally different today. Well today I have a mixed media card for you. A lot of different techniques are used on this one.

1° Ik ben begonnen met een witte kaart kleur te geven met Oxide inkt en een blending tool.

2° Daarna extra kleur aanbrengen met 2 verschillende sjablonen/stencils/masks hoe je het ook wil noemen.

3° Met structuur stempels gestempeld met embossing inkt en daar wit embossing poeder op gedaan. 

4° De libelle gestempeld op een restje en bewerkt met zwart embossing poeder. met de hand uitgeknipt.

5° Alle bloemen en blaadjes uitgestanst uit flower foam en bestempeld en beinkt.

6° De witte cirkels uitgestanst met de daarvoor op de markt gebrachte mallen set van CraftEmotions.

7° Tot slot alles op elkaar kleven het bloemen toefje maken en klaar.

1° First I coloured a white piece of cardstock with a blending tool and oxide ink.

2° Then I added 2 extra colours with 2 different masks/stencils whatever you want to call it.

3° With structure stamps I stamped here and there with embossing ink and heat set with white embossing powder.

4° Stamped the dragonfly on a piece of scrap and heat set with black embossing powder. Fussy cit it.

5° Die cut all the leaves and flowers out of flower foam. Stamped on the leaves gave the petals some ink.

6° Die cutted the white circles with the die set from CraftEmotions wich is made especially to make these kind of circles.

7° To finish up made the flower arrangement on the card glued everything together, done!
