New challenge at ATSC

Hi everyone, good morning

First sunday of the month and that means it's time for a new challenge at Addicted To Stamps Challenge Blog.

Our theme this month is to use non traditional chris.colours.

Not so very difficult I think. Here's my inspiration card.

The background I made with black and yellow shimmer powder from Nuvo. The stamped poinsettias I coloured in with a black watercolour pencil. I also added red and yellow Nuvo crystal drops.

Sadly this will be my last post as a DT member. It is due to a too bussy live with the webshop/shop/craft shows/workshops etc. It is with sadness that I decided to leave the team. New challenge at ATSC

Hi everyone,

Today is the start of our new challenge number168 and the theme couldn't be easier "Anything Goes + option Ribbon".

Hallo allemaal,

Vandaag start onze nieuwe challenge nummer 168 alweer. Het thema kan niet gemakkelijker zijn nml. "Alles Mag + optie Lintjes".

So here's my inspiration card. The ribbon I have used is to pull out the tag which is a gift voucher.

En hier is dan mijn inspiratie kaartje. Het lint dat ik gebruikt heb is om het label uit de kaart te trekken welke een cadeaubon is.

So it's up to you now you can create whatever you like, you can use ribbon but don't have to. But we do need to see some stamping.

ATSC Challenge 167

Hello everyone,

Long time no see but it has been very bussy with the craft shows. Luckily i had already prepared a card for todays new challenge. It is the start of challenge 167 with the theme: Autumn Colors.

Een hele fijne en zonnige morgen voor jullie allen,

Het is tijd om jullie het thema te onthullen van onze nieuwe challenge. Het thema is gekozen door ons team maatje Annie en dat is, trom geroffel aub.....

"Ribbons Galore"

Dat wil zeggen dat we deze maand op jullie project willen zien, iets van stempelen en lintjes, lintjes, lintjes. Galore wil zeggen veel dus...

Jullie hebben 1 maand de tijd om mee te doen en halverwege de maand komt een herinneringspost waarin ons team B jullie nieuwe inspiratie kaarten zal geven. Om mee te doen klik HIER en hierop volgend mijn inspiratie kaartje. Nog meer inspiratie kun je op ons challenge blog vinden waar je de voorbeeld kaartjes van mijn team genootjes kan bewonderen.

For me also this was a big challenge as I am not so much of a ribbon person. As it is galore I also didn't want to add a ribbon bow and that's it. So I decided to make a weave. This is how I made the card:

1: Cut a white square 14x14cm and die cut the heart in the middle.

2: Cover the heart with embossing ink and embossing powder and heat set.

3: Cut a white square 13.5 x 13.5 cm on this square you make your weave. I used two colours of the same type of ribbon white and pink.

4: Add your stamping to the card, here the hearts left side and heart strings at the top.

5: Adhere your cut our frame on top of your ribbon weave square.

6: Put back the heat embossed die cut heart in the opening. Make sure it is glued down very well.

7; Die cut the couple and glue it on your card front.

8: Die cut your flowers and leaves.

9: Stamp a structure stamp in the middle of each flower with embossing ink and heat set with the same EP as used on your heart.

10: Colour the tips of your flowers with ink.

11: Colour the leaves with ink.

12: First adhere this card to a coloured card base which is 14.5 x 29cm folded in half

13: Make a flower arrangement on your card front and glue down.

14: If desired add a sentiment I adhered it with foam tape and it says a special day.

Voor mij was dit ook een hele uitdaging want ik ben niet zo'n lintjes madam. En het moet galore maw VEEL zijn dus kon ik me er ook niet vanaf maken met gewoon een lintjes strikje erop te zetten. Dus besloot ik een lintjes weave te maken. Hier is hoe ik de kaart heb gemaakt:

1: Snijd een wit vierkant van 14x14cm en snijd hieruit het hart in het midden.

2: Bedek het uitgesneden hart met embossing inkt en vervolgens met embossing poeder en verhit.

3: Snijd een wit vierkant van 13.5x13.5cm hierop maak je de weave. Ik heb twee kleuren van hetzelfde soort lint gebruikt wit en roze.

4: Breng nu eerst je stempel werk aan, de hartjes boord langs links en de hartjes stringen aan de bovenzijde. 

5: Kleef nu je 14x14 kaart bovenop je geweven kaart zodat je de weave doorheen de opening van je hart ziet.

6: Leg nu het hart dat bedekt is met embossing terug in de opening en klaaf het goed vast.

7: Snijd het koppel uit en kleef dat op.

8: Snijd al je bloemen en blaadjes uit.

9: Zet een structuur stempel in het midden van je bloem met embossing inkt en bedek met EP en verhit. Gebruik hetzelfde poeder als op je hart.

10: Geef de tipjes van je bloemen wat kleur met inkt.

11: Geef ook de blaadjes wat kleur met inkt.

12: Kleef nu eerst deze kaart op een gekleurde basis kaart van 14.5x29cm, vouw dubbel.

13: Maak nu je bloemen arrangement op je kaart en kleef alles goed vast.

14: Voeg nog een tekst toe indien gewenst. Kleef het op met foam tape.

ATSC # 162 - Thank You

Vandaag lanceren we een nieuwe challenge op ons wedstrijd blog Addicted To Stamps Challenge Blog. Het thema voor deze 162ste challenge is

"Thank You" ofwel "Bedankt"

Vrij gemakkelijk thema, niet ?

Do not forget that we are a stamping blog so we DO need to see stamping of any sort !

Vergeet niet dat wij een stempel blog zijn en daarom MOETEN we iets van stempel werk op je creatie zien !

On our blog you can see some inspiration from my team mates but here is my inspiration for you with some explanation. To see the materials used click on the name.

Op ons blog kunnen jullie de inspiratie kaarten van mijn team genoten zien. Maar hier is mijn inspiratie kaart voor jullie met uitleg. Om het gebruikte item te zien klik op de naam.

I started by taking Watercolour paper I spritst it richly with water. Then I sprinkled on Nuvo Shimmer Powder Violet Brocade and added some more water if necessary. Dry with a heat tool.

Ik ben begonnen met aquarel papier te nemen daar heb ik rijkelijk water op gesprayt. Dan heb ik er Nuvo Shimmer poeder Violet Brocade op gesprinkeld en nog water toegevoegd indien nodig. Drogen met een heat tool.

Then I stamped my text I have used a stamp from the set Viva Lettering English with VersaMagic ink Eggplant and I heat set it with my embossing powder Silver Pearl for the pearlescent effect. Then I did the same at the same spot but with VersaMagic Pink Petunia and again heat set with the silver pearl embossing powder. Then I highlighted the text with a Nuvo Aqua flow pen Indigo Dawn 

Dan heb ik mijn tekst gestempeld ik heb hier de set gebruikt Viva Lettering English met VersaMagic Eggplant en dan bewerkt met mijn embossing poeder Silver Pearl voor het parelmoer effect. Daarna heb ik nog eens hetzelfde gedaan maar dan gestempeld met VersaMagic Pink Petunia Daarna hier en daar schaduw aangebracht aan de letters met een Nuvo Aqua flow pen Indigo Dawn

The gifts stamped with VersaFine Clair Monarch and the stamp set is Leane Celebration 55.2380. I coloured in the gifts with the Nuvo Alcohol Markers Supreme Metallics (unfortunatly you can't see the shine on the pic)

De cadeautjes gestempeld met VersaFine Clair Monarch de stempeltjes zijn van de set Leane Celebration 55.2380 De geschenkjes zijn ingekleurd met de Nuvo Alcohol markers Supreme Metallics. (Helaas zie je de glans niet op de foto)

The swirls and dots left and right of the card I drew by hand with a Nuvo Embossing Pen then sprinkled on my embossing powder Royal Purple and heat set.

De swirls en puntjes langs rechts en links van de kaart heb ik met de losse hand getekend met een Nuvo embossing pen dan mijn embossing poeder Royal Purple erop gesprenkeld en verhit met de heat tool.

For the finishing touch / Voor de afwerking

Add VersaMagic ink Purple Hydrangea to the borders and some more in the corners, use a big sponge dauber.
Stamp the little Lady Bug and flower Leane Good Luck with Nuvo Hybrid Ink Black Shadow. Colour in with Nuvo Aqua Flow pens Lemon Zest and Spiced Ginger. And last stamp the structures in second generation stamping also with the Purple Hydrangea Stamp set is Leane Background Structures 4.

Breng VersaMagic inkt Purple Hydrangea aan met een grote sponge dauber. Breng dit aan op de randen en wat meer op de hoeken. Stempel het lieveheersbeestje en bloem, Leane Good Luck set met Nuvo Hybride inkt Black Shadow. Kleur in met Nuvo Aqua Flow pennen Lemon Zest en Spiced Ginger. Tot slot stempel je de structuur in 2de generatie ook met de Purple Hydrangea. De stempel is de set Leane Background Structures 4.

Addicted to stamps new challenge # 156

Today we have the start of our new challenge N°156 on our challenge blog Addicted to stamps, wich has for theme "Autumn". I guess a very easy theme no? You are free to make whatever you want, a card, a canvas, a gift box you name it. As long as you follow these two rules, we do need to see some kind of stamping and you must follow the theme autumn.

New Challenge Summer/Beach

I had made this card for someone who retired so this person will have lots of time to enjoy the beach now. So I thought this image would be very fitting. And it is also a fancy fold.

Ik heb dit kaartje een tijd geleden gemaakt voor iemand die op pensioen ging. Deze persoon zal vanaf nu veel tijd hebben om van het strand te genieten daarom vond ik deze afbeelding er wel bij passen. Het is ook een fancy fold kaartje met veel laagjes en flapjes.

Vandaag start een nieuwe challenge op het Addicted to Stamps Challenge Blog. Het thema voor challenge 148 is "Gebruik Buttons (knoopjes) en/of Brads (splitpennen)" Niet zo  heel moeilijk denk ik dan. Het is aan team B om inspiratiekaarten te tonen, en dat ben ik dus ook. Dus hier is mijn kaartje.

New Challenge Use a Number

It is time again for our new challenge over at the 

Addicted to Stamps challenge blog.

Our theme this time is "Use a number"

As always you will have 2 weeks to come up with a creation.

Hallo goede morgen knutsel vrienden,

Het is weer tijd voor een nieuwe challenge op ons blog

Addicted to Stamps.

Het thema deze keer is "Gebruik een nummer".

Zoals altijd hebben jullie 2 weken om een creatie te maken.

So, we would like to see a number somewhere on your creation and we also need to see some kind of stamping. Further you can create anything you like; a card, a canvas, a giftbox you name it. So here's my inspiration card for you.

Dus, we willen graag ergens een nummer op je creatie zien en uiteraard natuurlijk ook iets van stempel werk. Verder mag je maken wat je maar wil; een kaart, een canvas, een geschenkdoosje, wat je maar wil. En hier is mijn inspiratie kaart voor jullie.

It's not my usual stamping card, this time I only stamped my sentiment. The card is for my parents 57th anniversary in april.

Het is niet de stempel kaart die jullie van mij gewend zijn, deze keer heb ik enkel de tekst gestempeld. De kaart is voor de 57ste huwelijksverjaardag van mijn ouders in april.
