Deel 4 en de voorlopig laatste voorbeeldkaarten van de scheerschuim workshop. Ook nu weer met de originele techniek en de uitbreidings versie.

Hier is deel 3 van de voorbeeldkaartjes die ik maakte voor de scheerschuim workshop. Onderaan kun je de gebruikte stempels vinden.

Here is part 3 of the sample cards that I made for the shaving foam workshop. Below you can find the stamps that I have used.

Het eerste kaartje is gedaan in de originele techniek.

This first card is done in the original technique.

Ook het tweede kaartje is met de originele techniek gedaan maar dan de negatief gebruikt. De leuke zeepaardjes is een nieuwe stempel van IndigoBlu en ingekleurd met Nuvo Aqua markers.

Also the second card is done in the original technique but here I used the negative. The fun seahorses is a new IndigoBlu stamp and coloured in with Nuvo Aqua Flow Markers.

En dan nummer 3 is gedaan in de uitbreidings versie. En ook hier nieuwe IndigoBlu stempels.
And number 3 is done with the extended technique. And again I used New IndigoBlu stamps.

Hoi hoi allemaal,

Ik blijf ervan versteld staan dat er toch nog veel mensen zijn die de scheerschuim techniek nog niet kennen. Daarom besloot hier in de winkel deze workshop nog eens te geven. Ik heb deze techniek wel verder ontwikkeld zodat je veel meer kan met je scheerschuim. Meer pret dus. Elke les doe ik voor hoe je het doet ik heb dus heel veel achtergrondjes + de voorbeeld kaarten die ik al gemaakt had je gaat hier de komende dagen dus veel scheerschuim kaarten zien passeren.

I continue to be amazed how many people still do not know the shaving foam technique. Therefore I decided to give another workshop here in the store with this technique. I further developed this technique so you can do a lot more with your shaving foam more fun. Each lesson I show how to therefore I have a lot of backgrounds on top of that I made a lot of inspiration samples so you will be seeing a lot of shaving foam cards the upcomming days.

Ik heb nog eens lekker ontspannen gespeeld met scheerschuim. Hieronder twee kaartjes van de vele die ik ermee gemaakt heb.

I've had another relaxed play with shaving foam. So much fun to do. Below two finished cards of the many that I made in this playtime.

Dit tweede kaartje zijn allemaal Lavinia stempels.

This second card are all Lavinia stamps.

Goedemorgen blog vrienden, volgers & bezoekers,

Ik heb vandaag weer 3 kaarten/1 stempel voor jullie. Maar eerst dit: van 20 t/m 24 september kunnen jullie mij weer vinden op het Hobbysalon in Mechelen stand 312. Kom zeker eens langs voor een gezellige babbel, een workshop mee te pikken en gezellig te snuisteren in het aanbod dat ik bij zal hebben.

Today I again have the formula 3 cards/1 stamp for you. But first this: from 20 till 24th september I will again be on the Mechelen Craft Show Boot n°312. If you are in Belgium do pop in my boot for a chat, a workshop and a look into the assortement I will have with me.

En dan de formule 3 kaarten/ 1 stempel. Alle drie de achtergronden zijn scheerschuim achtergronden die veel te licht van kleur waren. Maar ik besloot ze voor deze dame te gebruiken omdat deze stempel beter niet op een drukke achtergrond staat. In het echt zie je wel dat het een scheerschuim stuk is.

And now on to my formula 3 cards/1 stamp. For all 3 I used a shaving foam background which came out way to light coloured. But I decided to use them for this lady as she doesn't need a fierce background. IRL you do see it's a shaving background though.

Bij alle 3 heb ik een stempel gebruikt van IndigoBlu. Hier heb ik Nuvo embellishment mousse door een stencil gebruikt. Ik heb ook nog een CreaLies Decorette XL gestanst ook daar dezelfde Nuvo mousse opgedaan en doorgeknipt. Achter de stempel bevestigt.

For all 3 cards I used the same IndigoBlu stamp. Here I used Nuvo embellishment mousse through a stencil. I also made a die cut with a CreaLies Decorette XL which I also coloured with the same Nuvo mousse, cut it in half and adhered it behind my stamp.

Bij nummer twee heb ik opnieuw met een stencil gewerkt ditmaal in combinatie met de Nuvo Glimmer paste. En deze keer heb ik de stempel rechtstreeks op mijn achtergrond gezet. Tekstje erop een randje gemaakt met inkt en klaar.

For the second card I again used a stencil and this time in combination with the Nuvo Glimmer paste. This time I stamped straight onto my background, an edge made with ink, a sentiment and ready.

En dan nummer 3 hier heb ik ook weer rechtstreeks op mijn achtergrond gestempeld en dan aangevuld met een CreaLies Bits N Pieces en de hoekjes zijn CraftEmotions. Op een restje scheerschuim karton heb ik één van de nieuws Nellie Snellen tekstjes gezet.

Then number 3, I again stamped straight onto my background en dan added some stamps. For example a CreaLies Bits N Pieces, the corners are CraftEmotions. On a piece of shaving foam scrap I stamped one of the new Nellie's Choice stamps which says Have a wonderful day.

Play Time

Hier ben ik weer na een paar daagjes afwezigheid. Een snelle blogpost vandaag.

I'm back after a few days of absence. A quick blogpost today.

Ik ben een beetje aan het spelen geweest wat betreft de achtergrond, helaas op de foto zie je het niet omdat ik hele lichte kleuren heb gebruikt. In het echt ziet het er wel leuk uit.

De bloemen van Woodware erop gestempeld en de bolletjes gevuld met Nuvo Crystal Drops. De bloem blaadjes heb ik opgevul met Nuvo Jewel Drops. Deze drogen transparant heb en als je gekleurde jewel drops gebruikt heeft het transparante een beetje kleur. Hetgeen ik hier heb gedaan ik gebruikte groene drops.

I have had a play with my background. Unfortunately you can't see it on the picture because I used very light colours. IRL it looks nice.

Afterwards I stamped the flowers on my background they are from woodware. The balls I filled with Nuvo Crystal Drops. The flower leaves I filled with Nuvo Jewel Drops. These dry transparant en if you use coloured jewel drops the transparancy has a light colour tone. Which is what I did here. I used green jewel drops.

Shaving Foam again

Ik had nog een achtergrondje liggen van een demo die ik gedaan heb met scheerschuim. Vond de kleur wel mooi en besloot er gisteren middag even een kaartje mee te maken. Super snel klaar want de achtergrond had ik al.

I had a background on my desk which was left over from a demo I had done with the shaving foam. I found the colour rather beautiful and decided yesterday afternoon to make a card with it. A super fast ready card since I already had the background ready.

Op de scheerschuim achtergrond met rode Stazon de bloemen op gestempeld en ze daarna een beetje ingekleurd met Faber Castell Polychromos. De rand gekleurd met Nuvo embellishment mousse Indian red. Gemat op een zwarte basis kaart. Klaar!

On the shaving foam background I stamped the flowers with red Stazon and then gave them a tad of colour with Faber Castell Polychromos pencils. The edges I gave some Nuvo embellishment mousse Indian red. Adhered to a black base card. Ready!

Herinneren jullie je nog de blauwe kaart ? Ik twijfelde toen om de bloemen in te kleuren of niet maar besloot ze te laten zoals ze waren. Sommigen van jullie gaven je eerlijke mening en vonden ook dat de bloemen moesten blijven zoals ze waren. Het bleef echter in mijn gedachten zitten dat ik ze eens een keer wilde inkleuren. Aangezien dit een totaal andere kaart was met een totaal andere achtergrond waagde ik het erop en kleurde ze een beetje in. Ik moet zeggen dat ik beide kaarten heel leuk vind. Zelfde stempel twee verschillende kaarten.

Do you remember the blue card? I had doubts then on wether to give the flowers a tad of colour or not. I decided not to colour them and leave them as they were. Some of gave their honest opinion and also prefered to leave them uncoloured. The idea to colour them however was stuck in my mind. As this was a totaly different background and would become a card with a totally different layout I took my chance and coloured them. I must say that I like both cards equally as they are so different from each other. Same stamp, two very different cards. And I am officially in love with this stamp. Shaving Foam Extention2 - Scheerschuim Gevorderden 2

We waren begonnen met de originele scheerschuim techniek. Heb je die voorbeeld kaarten gemist klik dan HIER.
Daarna heb ik jullie de gevorderden techniek getoond hoe je veel meer haalt uit 1 bordje scheerschuim. Heb je die voorbeeld kaarten gemist klik dan HIER 
En vandaag zoals beloofd toon ik jullie nog een derde techniek.

We started off with the original shaving foam technique. In case you've missed those sample cards click HERE. 
Then I showed you the extented technique how you can do a lot more with 1 plate of shaving foam. In case you have missed those sample cards click HERE. 
And today as promised I will show you a thirth technique.

1. Doe je scheerschuim in je bakje of op je bord en strijk uit.

1. Put shaving foam in a tray or on a plate and even out a bit.

2. Neem een spray flesje ink gelijk welke als het maar op water basis is. Ik heb Lindy's gebruikt omdat daar nog een mooi glimmetje in zit ook. Laat het zo ga er NIET met een stokje doorheen roeren of lijnen trekken!

2. Take a spray bottle of ink, any will do as long as it is water based ink. I used Lindy's because the ink has a nice shine/glimmer in it. Leave the ink as it is, DO NOT go stirring the ink around or drag lines, leave it!

3. Neem je print. Links is de eerste print en rechts zie je de tweede print.

3. Take your print. Left side you see the first print and on the right you see the print that is taken second.

4. Nadien kun je dit nog verder gebruiken met een stencil zoals ik jullie in de vorige blogpost al vertelde. Je kan indien je je wil de kleur wat donkerder maken. 

5. Afterwards you can continue using this badge with your stencils as I explained in the blog post yesterday. And if you want you can darken the colour first.

En dan is het nu tijd om de voorbeeld kaarten met deze techniek te laten zien. Ik heb slechts tijd gehad voor twee voorbeeldjes.

So, now it's time to show you the sample cards with this technique. I only had time to make two cards.

Ik heb slechts een stuk van het scheerschuim paneel gebruikt en het schuin gesneden. Lavinia stempels erop en enkele Nuvo druppels.

I only used part of my shaving foam panel to give the card some extra intrest and I cut it obliquely. Added Lavinia stamps and some Nuvo drops.

Ook hier slechts een deel van het paneel gebruikt en schuin afgesneden. IndigoBlu stempels gebruikt.

Same here but this time I used IndigoBlu stamps.

Hierboven zien jullie een mood board, daar kom ik morgen voor terug bij jullie. Dan is het alweer de laatste woensdag van de maand en tonen alle deelnemers hun kaarten met de kleuren okergeel en terracotta. Het was aarts moeilijk voor mij. Komen jullie morgen kijken ? Above you see a mood board, that's for tomorrow. It's already the last wednesday of the month and that means all the participants at the colour chain will show their creations. And this month the two colours are ochre and terracotta. I can tell you it was dreadfully difficult for me. Will you visit tomorrow to have a look ? Thank you so much for your visit today.
