Dandelion Vellum

Hello there,

 

Here's my next post for today number 3 and more comming up ;-)

 

 

Hallo daar,

 

Hier is blogbericht nr 3 en er komen er nog ;-)

 

 

 

My card base is white cardstock on which i layered a piece of

designers paper. Then i took a piece of white plane vellum and on that

i stamped my dandelions with Stazon Jet Black.

I didn't glue the vellum on my DP i adhered it with a dark blue

cotter pin (is that the correct word ?)

And then around the left bottom corner of the vellum i stamped

my image also with Stazon and it says:

"Especially For You"

 

De basis is wit kaartkarton daarop heb ik een stuk design papier

van Nellie Snellen gekleefd. Dan heb ik op een stuk gewoon

wit vellum mijn pluizebollen gestempeld met Stazon Jet Black. Het

vellum heb ik niet opgekleefd ik heb het aan de basis vastgemaakt met

een donker blauwe splitpen.

En dan rond de linker onder hoek van het vellum mijn tekstje

gestempeld.

Male Card

Hi all,

 

I'm here for round two, my second post for today and more

will follow. Yesterday i told you i wasn't in for packing and i wanted

to do some crafting. Well i did both as this morning.

So now i am fully packed to leave for holiday tonight and yesterday

plus this morning i did some crafting.

That's why i am having so many blog posts today.

 

Hoi allemaal,

 

Hier ben ik met ronde twee, mijn tweede blog bericht vandaag en er gaan

er nog volgen. Gisteren zei ik dat ik me totaal geen zorgen maakte

ivm het inpakken voor vakantie en dat ik zo graag nog wat wilde knutselen.

Wel zowel gisteren als deze voormiddag heb ik beide gedaan. Ingepakt en

geknutseld. Alles is klaar om vanacht op vakantie te vertrekken.

Enkele kaarten gemaakt daarom zoveel blog berichten vandaag.

For Dad

This is my first post for today there will follow some more posts because
 tonight we leave on holiday and i  have made a few cards for some challenges.
Dit is mijn eerste blog post voor vandaag, er volgen er nog enkele omdat ik
nog enkele kaarten heb gemaakt voor een paar challenges.

Het is tijd voor....

een nieuwe challenge bij de Creative Corner Challenge Blog.

En ons thema voor deze week is Just For dad

Je mag dus gelijk wel creatief project maken dat verwijst naar je vader.

Je creatie moet bij ons binnen zijn voor middernacht op donderdag 11 juni.

 

So here's my DT card for this challenge.

En hier is mijn DT kaart voor deze challenge.

 

 

My base is light blue cardstock on which i layered kraft cardstock.

On the left hand side a piece of white cardstock on which i stamped the

lines pattern with Versafine Vintage Sepia ink.

To do this i used my brand new lines stamp, one of the goodies i

won and chose at Clearly Besotted.

Then i stamped the old cars on top of the lines in second and third

generation inking and i used the same Versafine ink.

From Kraft and a Die i made the scalloped cirkel, the round cirkel is

from a left over white cardstock and a Nellie Snellen die.

My focal image is a Scrap Berry's stamp and again i used the same Versafine

ink. The banner is made with a joy! Crafts die and the letters i stamped

on it is a type writer stamp set from Joy! Crats too.

De basis is lichtblauw kaartkarton waarop ik kraft karton heb gekeefd.

Aan de linker zijde een strook wit karton bestempeld met lijnen.

De lijnen is een stempel set van Clearly Besotted dat in mijn pakje zat

met gekozen goodies als winner bij LiM.

Dan heb ik de oude autootjes gestempeld in tweede en derde generatie inkt.

Ik heb voor al het stempelwerk Versafine Vintage Sepia gebruikt.

Met een gekartelde mal de kraft cirkel gemaakt en een ronde Nellie Snellen mal

de witte cirkel. De auto daarop is een stempel setje van ScrapBerry's.

De banner is een Joy! Crafts mal en de tekst is een Joy! Crafts stempel set

die noemt Type Writer.

 

I also stamped on the inside.

Ook aan de binnenkant enkele autootjes.

Z-Fold Flap Male Card

Hi all,

 

Wow, what a title huh ?! Hope the card is as good as it's title ?!

Just a quick post today with a card i made for some challenges. My head

is bit by bit focussing on vacation. Can you believe it ? Tomorrow night we're

off to France. Still i really would love to do some crafting this afternoon.

I so do hope i can find the time for it. Nope i am not yet packed and to be

honest this is the first time in my entire life that i am not packed at this moment.

And it is the first time in my entire life that i don't care and don't freak out

about it. Normally i am over-organized, this time NOTHING ! No lists, and

no stress at all. Could it be because of my ankle injury ? I don't know, i am

limping around though, so there definitly is improvement.

Maybe it's the age, maybe at age 48 i finally can let go of things ?

Whatever the reason i really would love to do some crafting today, we'll see.

And yes, i am looking foreward to our vacation.

 

Hoi iedereen,

 

Waauw, wat een titel hé ?! Hopelijk is de kaart de ronkende titel waard ?

Een snelle post vandaag met een kaart die ik maakte voor enkele

challenges. Mijn hoofd begint beetje bij beetje naar vakantie te draaien.

Kun je dat geloven ? Morgen nacht zijn we weg richting zuid Frankrijk.

En toch zou ik dolgraag nog wat knutselen deze namiddag. Ik hoop echt dat ik

er de tijd nog voor vind. En nee, ik heb nog niet alles ingepakt. Eerlijk gezegd

dit is de aller eerste keer in mijn leven dat ik op dit moment zo vlak voor vertrek

nog niet volledig klaar ben. En de aller eerste keer in mijn leven dat ik er

niet om geef, het kan me geen barst schelen. Normaal gezien ben ik

over-georganiseerd, ditmaal, NIKS-NADA ! Geen lijstjes, geen stress,

niks. Zou het aan mijn enkel verwonding liggen ? Ik weet het niet,

ik kan allezins toch al redelijk rond pikkelen dus er is zeker verbetering.

Misschien ligt het aan de leeftijd, dat ik op 48 jaar eindelijk de dingen

kan los laten ? Wat de reden ook is, ik wil echt dolgraag nog wat knutselen

vandaag. En ja ik kijk echt wel uit naar de vakantie hoor.

 

So here's the card. En hier is dan de kaart.

There are lots of pictures, lots of folds but it fits into a normal size

envelope, that's the fun part about it.

Er zijn veel foto's, veel flappen en vouwen maar de kaart kan in een

normaal formaat envelope, dus geen extra zegels kleven, hoe cool is dat.

 

Kaart vooraanzicht als ze gesloten is. De strook met label fungeert als slotje.

The sentiment on the label says "Especially For You"

 

 

Pic N° 2 I am pulling with my left hand to open the card. You see

the fastening getting open and the first flap opening too.

Foto 2 Ik trek met mijn linkerhand om de kaart te openen. De lange strook

komt omhoog zodat de eerste flap los komt en zich opent.

 

 

 

Pic N° 3 The card is now open and you see the decoration of the first

flap. Here i stamped the book and the feathers.

The sentiment says "A Card Because..."

Foto 3 Hier is de kaart open en kun je versiering zien op de eerste

flap. Hier heb ik een boek gestempeld en veren.

 

Pic N° 4 When you open the decorated flap you get to the inside of the card.

Here I did some more stamping and you have a blanc panel to write

a personal message.

Foto 4 Wanneer je de eerste versierde flap opent kom je bij het binnenste

van de kaart. Ook hier heb ik een flap bestempeld en je hebt ook een blanco

flap waar je een persoonlijk bericht kan schrijven.

 

Pic N° 5 Here the card is more flattened out. I pressed down the label too.

Foto 5 is de kaart meer plat en ik heb het label ook wat plat gedrukt.

CAS CAT

Hello blogging Buddy's

 

Today i have another cas card to show you. One that i have made for a couple
of challenges. And i did paper piecing for the first time, at least i think i did LOL
Still not sure if what i did actually is paper piecing ?!
Here's my card...

Hallo blog maatjes,

Vandaag heb ik weer een cas kaartje voor jullie. Ik heb ze gemaakt voor
enkele challenges. En ik heb voor de eerste keer paper piecing gedaan,
althans, dat denk ik toch LOL Ik ben nog steeds niet zeker dat
wat ik gedaan heb effectief paper piecing is ?!
Hier is mijn kaartje ...

My card recepi goes as follows:
My base is middel grey linen cardstock. On top of that in the right
hand bottom corner a piece of white cardstock and finally a smaller piece
layered on the white and that is light grey linen cardstock.
I took a sheet designers paper from a Craft Sensations design block
i used the Mix & Match Pastels & Whites and i used a piece with green hearts
on, very subtle. (so subtle you can't see it LOL)
On that i stamped my cat with black stazon and fussy hand cut.
I adhered the cat with foam tape. The sentiment i made on the computer.
Finally the rhinestone drop symbolizes a tear. I wanted this to be more
subtle as in smaller but i only had this size so i kept it like it was.
I know when people loose theire pet they can be really devastated, i know
i was and then a sympathy card like this comforts them, hence the idea
to make this card.
Het recept van deze kaart gaat als volgt:
De basis is midden grijs linnen kaartkarton. In de rechter onder hoek een
stuk wit kaartkarton en daarop een stuk licht grijs linnen karton.
Uit een Craft Sensations design papier heb ik een sheet genomen met subtiele
licht groene hartjes. (Zo subtiel dat je't niet eens ziet LOL)
Daarop heb ik de kat gestempeld en die dan uitgeknipt en opgekleefd met
foam tape. Tekst is op de computer gemaakt. Tot slot de rhinestone
druppel symboliseerd een traan, die wilde ik wat subtieler maw kleiner
maar ik had enkel dit formaat dus heb ik het zo gelaten. Ik wilde die symboliek
er zeker bij hebben. Ik weet wanneer iemand zijn huisdier verliest, dat zij er
helemaal van onderste boven kunnen zijn, dat was ik ook.  En dan is zo'n
condoleance kaartje welkom, vandaar dat dit idee ontstond.

Hidden wedding card/Verborgen huwelijkskaart

Hi all,

Today i have a wedding envelope/card for you.
It looks like a simple envelope but there's a card hidden inside.
Hope you like it.

Hallo allemaal,
Vandaag heb ik een huwelijks envelop/kaart om te laten zien.
Het lijkt een simpele gewone envelop maar er zit een kaart in verborgen.
Ben benieuwd wat jullie ervan vinden.

This is how it looks like on the outside. Just an envelope.
Zo ziet het er aan de buitenzijde uit, gewoon een envelop.

 

On this detail pic you see i embossed the top flap and you can see

the belly band very good.

Op deze detail foto zie je goed dat ik de bovenste flap geëmbosd heb.

En kun je de belly band goed zien die als sluiting dient.

 

This is how it looks like when you remove the belly band.

Zo ziet het eruit als je de belly band eraf haalt.

 

 

When you open all the flaps there's the hidden wedding card.

The card is glued down in the envelope.

Als je alle flapjes open doet, dan heb je daar de verborgen huwelijks-

kaart. De kaart is vastgelijmd in de envelop.

 

 

Here's a closer look on the card itself.

Hier nog een close up van de kaart zelf.

 

 

And when you open the card, there are more hidden goodies.

And more than enough space to write down your personal message

for the happy couple.

En wanneer je de kaart open vouwt, ha daar heb je nog meer verborgen

leuks. En meer dan voldoende vrije ruimte om je persoonlijke

boodschap neer te schrijven voor het gelukkige paar

Things With Wings

Today i'm here with my DT card for the new challenge over at

Buckwells Crafty Challenges and the theme for this months challenge is

"Things With Wings"

Goedemorgen iedereen,

 

 

Vandaag ben ik er met mijn DT kaart voor de nieuwe challenge bij

Buckwells Crafty Challenges en het thema voor deze maand is

"Things With Wings"

And so here's my last DT card for Buckwells.

En hier is dan mijn allerlaatste DT kaart voor Buckwells.

 

 

As i told you i have used Mr & Mrs Owl digi and i made a wedding

anniversary card with it. That's what the sentiment says 'Congratulations

with your wedding anniversary'.

I coloured them with copic markers and a few Spectrum Noir's.

The colouring took me ages i am not so very familiar with colouring

with copics. I usually use Faber Castell pencils.

I wanted to give it a try.

 

Zoals ik al zei heb ik de Mr & Mrs Owl digi gebruikt en ik heb er een

jubileum kaart van gemaakt. De digi is ingekleurd met copics en een

paar Spectrum Noir's. Het inkleuren heeft uren geduurd.

Ik ben helemaal niet zo vertrouwd met het inkleuren met stiften,

gewoonlijk gebruik ik Faber Castell potloden.

I wilde het wel eens proberen.

 

 

Their colar's are heat embossed with glitter powder and the mrs

colar is done with glittery puff embossing powder.

 

Hun kraagjes heb ik met de heat tool en embossing poeder gedaan.

Met een glittertje erin en bij het vrouwtje heb ik glitter puff

poeder gebruikt.
